Huskies Dominate URI – University of Connecticut Athletics

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island – The UConn ladies’s swimming and diving group dominated in a win over the University of Rhode Island at Tootell Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies coasted to victory with a 188-112 win over the Rams, with sophomore Sydney Perkins and freshman Mia Hatriz main the way in which for the Huskies with a mixed six high 3 finishes, with 5 1^st place finishes,

“It was fun to get a get win, the first of the season, the team raced hard and earned a win on the road,” mentioned Head Coach Chris Maiello on the victory.  “We are under heavy training, so it was challenging for them, but generally we did a good job.”
