Shanna Lewis (she/her/hers) joined KRCC in 2021 because the Growth/General Assignment Reporter.

Professional Background:
Shanna joined KRCC after 15 years as an unbiased Southern Colorado primarily based radio producer, journalist and photographer, usually contributing to KRCC and CPR News, in addition to NPR. Her freelance print and pictures have been featured on NationalGeographic.com, The Denver Post, The National Post (Canada), High Country News, U.S. News and World Report and different publications. Shanna served on the board of administrators for KLZR 91.7 FM, a neighborhood radio station in rural Colorado, for 15 years. She’s contributed to and collaborated on quite a few award-winning broadcast, on-line and multimedia tasks and is the recipient of a number of awards for reporting and pictures.
