Thanksgiving air site visitors might ‘gradual to a trickle’ if shutdown persists, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says

WASHINGTON — Air site visitors within the U.S. might “slow to a trickle” if the federal authorities shutdown lingers into the busy Thanksgiving journey vacation season, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned Sunday.

The Federal Aviation Administration final week ordered flight cuts on the nation’s busiest airports as some air site visitors controllers, who’ve gone unpaid for almost a month, have stopped exhibiting up for work.
