HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Hawai’i duo of Emily Heintzelman and Sydney Miller wrapped up play on the 2025 AVCA Pairs National Championship with a pair of wins on Sunday on the John Hunt Park Volleyball Complex in Huntsville, Ala. 

The tandem defeated duos from Jacksonville University and UT Martin to seize the 57th comfort bracket. Heintzelman and Miller swept Hayden Garnett and Meredith Mrukowski of Jacksonville, 21-16, 21-16, within the first match of the day, earlier than taking down Reagan McGee and Riley Rushing of UT Martin.

After dropping its first three matches of the three-day occasion, the UH duo completed robust with a trio of wins to even their document (3-3) for the weekend.
