Bryun Parham Named Walter Camp Player of the Year Semifinalist

STORRS, CT – UConn linebacker Bryun Parham (Long Beach, CA) has been named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation record of semifinalists for his or her 2025 Player of the Year award, the fourth-oldest school soccer award within the nation.

The 20 participant semifinalist record consists of 11 quarterbacks, six defensive gamers, two working backs and one broad receiver. Former Colorado (and present Jacksonville Jaguar) broad receiver/defensive again Travis Hunter was the 2024 Walter Camp Player of Year.

Parham, who joined the Huskies for the 2025 season, has led the UConn protection this season and is among the many high cross rushers within the nation this fall. Parham leads the crew with 10.5 sacks and ranks third nationally in whole sacks (10.5) and seventh sacks per sport (1.05). The Walter Camp Player of the Year shall be voted on by the 136 Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches and sports activities data administrators later this month. Three finalists shall be introduced later this month and the 59th recipient of the Walter Camp Player of Year award together with the 136th version of the Walter Camp All-America crew shall be introduced on the ESPN College Football Awards Show on Friday, December 12.
