GJSD Publicizes Startwork Dates for Community Stroll/Swim Programs

GJSD is joyful to announce that the District’s Community Walking and Swimming Programs can be beginning again up after Thanksgiving Break. The packages are open to anybody within the Johnstown group who would really like the chance to remain energetic in the course of the winter season.

Community Walking Program:

Program Starts:  Monday, December 1

Program Ends:  Thursday, April 2, 2026

Location:  Warren St. Elementary School (110 Warren St, Johnstown, NY 12095)

Days:  Monday – Thursday

Time:  6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

– Please use fundamental entrance upon arrival and register with a faculty attendant

– Program won’t run when college will not be in session or any day college is canceled attributable to inclement climate (Closed December 22-25, December 29-January 1, and February 16-19)

Community Swim Program:

Program Starts:  Saturday, December 6

Program Ends:  TBD

Location: Johnstown High School (1 Sir Bill Circle, Johnstown, NY 12095)

Days:  Saturdays

Time:  9:00 – 11:00 A.M.

– Use the again entrance of JHS by the pool/bus loop and register with a faculty attendant 

– The program won’t run when college will not be in session or if campus is closed attributable to inclement climate 

– Swim program won’t function on the next Saturdays:  December 20 & December 27

– Children 12 and below have to be accompanied by an grownup. Toddlers and youthful should put on swimming diapers within the pool. You are allowed to herald your individual swimming aides (swimmies and different gadgets which can be meant that can assist you keep afloat and swim). Pool floats are prohibited.
