Panthers Swimming End SIU A3 Performance Invite On Saturday Night time

The Panthers swimming wrapped up their three-day competitors on the SIU A3 Performance invite. EIU competed in opposition to Southern Illinois, the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Bellarmine University, and the University of Evansville. Both males’s and girls’s swimming earned a number of spectacular placements and ending occasions.  

Day 1  

Men’s: Day one on the lads’s facet was highlighted by a fifth place end within the Men’s 400 Yard Medley Relay A-Final with a ending time of three:25.20. The relay staff included Alexander Sadowski, Nolan Wallace, Sebastian Rosales, and Simonas Rimskis. In addition, the Panthers positioned 4th within the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:23.52. The 4th place relay staff included Sadowski, Luke Helm, Wallace, and Carson Hughes. Eddie Myers positioned 2nd within the B-Final for the five hundred Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:38.78.  

Women’s: Similar to the lads, the Women’s 400 Yard Medley Relay led the way in which with a 4th place end within the A-Final with a time of 4:00.25. The relay staff included Jenna Patridge, Genevieve Biberdorf, Sophia Buswell, and Maja Przybylska. EIU’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay positioned fifth within the A-Final with a time of 1:38.82. Their relay staff consisted of Przybylska, Buswell, Anna Mueller, and Patridge. Mueller gained the B-Final within the 500 Yard Freestyle with a ending time of 5:12.27.  

Day 2 

Men’s: Alexander Sadowski positioned fifth within the Men 100 Yard Backstroke A-Final with a ending time of 49.74 seconds. Nolan Wallace positioned 2nd within the Men 100 Yard Breaststroke B-Final with a time of 57.84 seconds. Simonas Rimskis, Bido Awad, and Joshua Campion every collected factors as nicely within the Men 100 Yard Breaststroke. Awad had a time of 59.50, Campion completed in 59.58 seconds, and Rimskis completed with a time of 58.49.   

Women’s: Like Day 1, EIU girls’s relay groups impressed with a fifth place end within the Women 200 Yard Medley Relay A-Final with a time of 1:49.86. The relay staff consisted of Patridge, Biberdorf, Buswell, and Przybylska. Sydney Vandervelde posted a first-place end within the Women 400 Yard IM B-Final with a time of 4:37.81. Annemarie Johnson and Sophia Buswell each collected factors within the Women 100 Yard Butterfly. Johnson had a time of 1:01.96, whereas Buswell completed in 58.95 seconds.  

Day 3 

Men’s: Alexander Sadowski positioned seventh within the Men 200 Yard Backstroke with a ending time of 1:52.66. Nolan Wallace collected factors within the Men 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of two:09.00. Eddie Myers recorded a high ten end within the Men 200 Yard butterfly with a finals time of 1:56.71. 

Women’s: Anna Mueller recorded a high ten end within the Women 1650 Yard Freestyle with a time of 18:23.23. Remi Bokos additionally completed within the high ten for the Women 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of two:06.50. Genevieve Biberdorf positioned seventh within the Women 200 Yard Breaststroke with a finals time of two:23.12.  

At the conclusion of the three-day invitational, the lads’s staff positioned fifth with a rating of 201. The girls’s staff positioned fifth with a rating of 216.
