LEXINGTON, Va. – Bridgewater girls’s swimming cemented a robust outing on the Keydet Invitational over three days of competitors to complete in fifth place in a area of 10 groups Sunday.


Grace Warren took the competitors by storm with stable outcomes. Warren swam a 5:10.47 within the 500 freestyle, swam a 1:00.18 100 backstroke, and swam a 17:48.98 within the 1650 freestyle.  

  

The girls completed fifth behind Roanoke, Milligan, VMI, and Lynchburg with 351 factors. 

  

The girls began the meet with Warren inserting second within the 1650 freestyle in 17:48.98, whereas Anabelle Dragan positioned seventh with a time of 19:18.18 and Beatriz Macario Molina positioned 14th with a time of 20:29.03. 


Dragan was up 20 minutes later with an eighth place end within the 200 backstroke with a time of two:18.58. Mia Flory was ninth, profitable the B remaining in 2:19.32. Lily Baran positioned twelfth in 2:34.39.

Tessa Gorby positioned seventh within the 100 freestyle in 54.04 whereas Nelle Hines positioned twelfth with a 56.81 posted time. Then, Peyton Lawrence positioned eighth within the 200 breaststroke in 2:32.88, Gracen Kelly took a time of two:53.81, and Paislee Hollifield completed in 2:54.72.


McKenna Curry positioned seventh within the 200 butterfly with a 2:20.48 end result. 


The day rounded out with the ladies ending with a fifth place rating in a time of three:51.08 within the 400 freestyle relay with McKenna Curry, Nelle Hines, Anabelle Dragan, and Tessa Gorby.

The Eagles will look forward to 2026 as they face Roanoke on the street on Jan. 10.
