Western Sydney University researchers have been named on the 2025 Clarivate listing of Highly Cited Researchers. The prestigious listing recognises researchers who reveal important world affect and affect of their fields of analysis.

Five researchers and one affiliate Western researcher have been named on the 2025 listing, recognized as having authored a number of Highly Cited Papers which rank within the high 1% by citations for his or her area and publication 12 months within the Web of Science Core Collection over the previous eleven years.

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Ian Anderson congratulated these named on the listing for this important achievement.

“The Clarivate Highly Cited List is a benchmark of sustained, high-quality global impact and quantifies the impressive work of Western Sydney University researchers who are at the forefront of excellence and innovation in addressing some of the world’s most challenging problems. I congratulate all named on the list for their well-deserved recognition,” mentioned Professor Anderson.
