2025 has been such a rewarding 12 months. We welcomed our second baby in April and I made the choice to cut back on weddings over the summer season to be absolutely current with my children. We had an intentional, sluggish, lovely 12 months. I made just a few journeys to Charlottesville & Richmond for engagement classes, photographed just a few weddings, and made area in my calendar for many household portraits. And what unimaginable households I’ve had this 12 months!

Past marriage ceremony purchasers, neighbors, associates, referrals. First infants, milestones, anniversaries, household pets, these portrait classes coated all of it. Most of my classes have been at our farm on lovely golden evenings. It is such a present to step out into my yard to work! Other purchasers introduced me into their residence. Some travelled hours to me, others dwell just a few miles down the street. I noticed unimaginable examples of wholesome, healthful households, sturdy marriages, well-loved kids. I feel that is what made this 12 months so rewarding.
