Patriots Full Day One of Patriot Invitational

FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason males’s staff is third and the ladies’s staff fourth after the primary day of competitors on the Patriot Invitational.

On the lads’s facet, Florida Atlantic has the lead (214) with Towson second (210) and George Mason third (190).  Marist is fourth (154) adopted by Monmouth (150), American (128) and Marymount (68).

The Patriots took second within the 800-yard freestyle relay with the staff of senior Tate Anderson and juniors Alex Crown, Cody Scifres and Ryan Serbia ending with a time of 6:33.29).

In the 200-yard medley relay, the mixture of graduate pupil Agustin Rasche, senior Jack Chapman and Aoun Al-Hiari, and junior Ian Rodgers positioned fourth with a time of 1:28.11.

On the ladies’s facet, Florida Atlantic leads (216) with Towson second (204) and Richmond third (176).  George Mason is fourth (160) adopted by American (152), Marist (146) and Monmouth (88).

The staff of seniors Ainsley Toews and Peyton Brehmer, junior Casey Tingen and freshman Sidney Kaufman positioned fifth within the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.36).

In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the mixture of junior Kristen Ivey, sophomore Greta Mott and freshmen Alexis Brazier and Madelyn Abel completed sixth with a time of seven:33.41.

Day two of the Patriot Invitational is Thursday, Nov. 20 with prelims scheduled for 10 a.m., diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. on the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va.
