Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist Lecture: Isaac Scott

Isaac Scott, a Philadelphia-based ceramic artist, photographer and educator, will communicate at Goshen College’s annual Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist occasion on Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in Rieth Recital Hall.

Originally from Madison, Wisc., Scott works primarily with ceramics and images, mediums which finest enable him to interpret and elaborate upon present political and cultural occasions. Scott’s pictures of the 2020 Uprising in Philadelphia have been featured within the June 22, 2020 difficulty of The New Yorker. He is represented by Lucy Lacoste Gallery in Concord, MA, the place Mouros, his solo exhibition, happened in 2023. Scott’s ceramic work has been exhibited across the nation. Scott acquired a BA in Philosophy from The University of Wisconsin (Madison) in 2014 and an MFA in Ceramic Art from Tyler School of Art and Architecture in 2021.
