Males’s Swimming storms forward in Yellow Jacket keynote

HAMPTON, Va. – The Salisbury University males’s swimming staff stormed off the blocks and holds a sizeable lead after day one of many three-day Yellow Jacket Invitational on Friday night on the Hampton Aquaplex.

• The Sea Gulls took seven of the highest eight positions within the 500 free, with Owen Mahoney (4:32.96), Ethan Lloyd (4:37.84), and Matt Merke (4:38.48) sweeping the rostrum.
• Dominic Kazzi (1:52.80), Brody Hanlon (1:54.02), and Michael Paulos (1:55.32) took second, third, and fourth, respectively, within the 200 IM.
• Cameron Byrd additionally swam a formidable 1:52.66 in a 200 IM exhibition through the morning session.
