#8 Girls’s Swimming competes in Saturday at Fall Frenzy

Charlotte, N.C. — The eighth-ranked Catawba College girls’s swimming crew competed of their second day of competitors on the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, remaining in seventh place as a crew.

PRELIMS

100-Yard Butterfly

– Sydney Peterson and Eniko Onofer earned spots within the comfort last within the 100 Fly prelims within the morning session

200-Yard Freestyle

– Danielle Meinema simply missed a championship last within the 200 Free with a B-cut-worthy time of 1:51.86

– Marit Reckmann and Eszter Pajor joined her within the comfort last with 14th and sixteenth placings, respectively within the morning session

100-Yard Breaststroke

– Sydney McKenzie claimed her spot within the comfort last with a B-cut time of 1:03.21 within the 100 Breast

100-Yard Backstroke

– Maggie Cheves made her manner into the comfort last within the 100 Back with a mark of 56.65

FINALS

100-Yard Butterfly

– Onofer rose to tenth within the 100 Butterfly finals, good for second-fastest within the comfort last with a swim of 55.29, incomes an NCAA B-cut

– Peterson positioned thirteenth within the 100 Fly with a mark of 56.06

200-Yard Freestyle

– Meinema positioned tenth within the 200 Free finals with a 1:51.47 swim; Pajor completed sixteenth

100-Yard Backstroke

– McKenzie minimize her 100 Back time all the way down to 1:02.53 within the night session, inserting tenth

100-Yard Backstroke

– Cheves positioned sixteenth within the girls’s 100 Back with a 56.95 time
