 Peacefully, and surrounded by her kids, Jean Hooper handed away on November twentieth, 2025, on the age of 88. Beloved spouse of George (predeceased 2013), and an incredible, much-loved mum to Kenneth (Julie) and Lorna. A loyal grandma to Sean (predeceased 2020), Jean was additionally predeceased by her brothers Bob and Alec and is lovingly remembered by her “wee” sister Christine (Joe) and sister-in-law Louise Kilian (Jake). She can be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and her nice nephew. Jean was born in Scotland and was the oldest of 4 siblings. After marrying George, they bravely immigrated to Canada in 1968, and after some backwards and forwards between Canada and Scotland, they finally made their everlasting dwelling in Cobden in 1977. There, Jean lived an exquisite and fulfilling life inside her group. She loved curling and was an energetic member of the Cobden Civinette Club. Jean labored for a few years at Star-Set Jewelers in Eganville, a job she actually beloved.
