Avanti West Coast invitations public to seize spirit of rail route with new pictures competitors

Avanti West Coast is inviting eager photographers to seize the spirit of communities throughout its route as a part of a novel competitors to have fun the native folks and locations.

The Together We Roll Photography Competition is encouraging skilled, rising, and beginner photographers to share a picture that completely captures the spirit of a neighborhood to the West Coast Main Line.  

It is designed to acknowledge the function the railway performs in connecting folks and locations, because the UK marks 200 years of the fashionable railway.

Whether it’s cultural heritage, private interactions or celebrations, the intercity operator needs to showcase the folks and locations, whereas recognising their connection to the railway throughout this anniversary yr.

The competitors opens on 18 November and closes on 14 December 2025. Entries could be submitted for the next classes: Emerging artists; Amateur photographers; Professional photographers; and Our People.

Successful entrants can have their work proven as a part of a presentation throughout a non-public occasion hosted by Avanti West Coast at The National Gallery in London, in addition to printed in Modern Railways Magazine, displayed at stations on the West Coast Main Line and obtain a pair of First Class tickets.
