Wingate’s Natalia Dwojak is the SAC Swimmer of the Week

Rock Hill, S.C.—-Wingate University senior Natalia Dwojak (Lublin, Poland) is that this week’s South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week, as chosen by the league’s company workplace. Reigning SAC Swimmer of the Year Natalia Dwojak compiled 58 factors, main No. 9 Wingate to a fourth-place end within the star-studded Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational Thursday by way of Sunday. She captured first place within the 100 Breaststroke (1:01.53) and contributed top-10 finishes within the 50 Freestyle and three relays (the 200 and 400 Medley Relays and the 200 Freestyle Relay).

Dwojak and her teammates defeated 4 NCAA Division I faculties on the 10-squad chief board. Wingate outdistanced La Salle, UNC Asheville, Incarnate Word (Texas) and Gardner-Webb from Division I and Catawba and Florida Tech from Division II. On the Horizon for the Bulldogs

Both Wingate groups will take a well-deserved Thanksgiving break Wednesday by way of Sunday. Fall semester ultimate examinations start December 8. The Bulldogs return to the pool Friday and Saturday, December 12-13 as they host South Atlantic Conference rival Carson-Newman on the Wingate University Natatorium.
