Kesha treats Bay Area bar to impromptu present, jokes popo shut her down

So a lot for “tick-tock on the clock, but the party don’t stop.”

Pop star Kesha was within the Bay Area on Tuesday evening and, based on her TikTok account, graced downtown Palo Alto’s the Patio together with her presence. 

“When you go to a random bar in Palo Alto and decide to bless the crowd with your biggest hit,” learn a caption on the video, wherein Kesha could be seen performing her 2009 mega-hit “Tik Tok” in an outsized feather jacket. 

However, based on Kesha’s TikTok account — no relation between the app and the track — the impromptu efficiency was unceremoniously minimize quick.

“But the popo took ‘police shut us down’ literally…” continued the textual content on Kesha’s TikTok, referencing the track’s lyrics, as she left the stage. In actuality, the police have been by no means known as. It was only a safety guard asking Kesha not stand on the bar’s seats for her personal security. 

“Kesha was awesome, no police were involved… there was never anything like that. Sadly security didn’t recognize her and when she jumped up on our booth seats she was asked to get down,” wrote The Patio proprietor Megan Kawkab in an e-mail to SFGATE.

“She was totally fantastic! Gracious and danced the night away,” Kawkab added.

Kesha’s video ends with the singer rocking out as the remainder of the bar screams the track’s lyrics. “But then these gorgeous angels saved the night,” wrote the pop star.
