Raising consciousness of the completely different struggles that males expertise with their well being and wellbeing, Bright Northumbria Healthcare Charity has unveiled a brand new images exhibition.

The exhibition has opened on the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH), spotlighting the lives and tales of 12 male workers members at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Participants have shared how they’ve overcome private well being points and what has helped to make a optimistic influence on their wellbeing, inspiring and inspiring different males to do the identical.

The challenge was organised by the belief’s official charity, Bright Northumbria Healthcare Charity, with Ikuko Tsuchiya main the images of the challenge.

Ikuko is an award-winning practitioner of art-photography and instructing artwork, exploring how artwork may also help to rework private experiences and emotional journeys into shared dialogue, resulting in understanding.

Ikuko stated: “I wish to specific my heartfelt gratitude to all of the members who took the courageous step of sharing their private well being tales for this challenge and stepping in entrance of digital camera.

Katie Dawson, Bright Charity’s therapeutic arts programme supervisor, stated: “I wish to thank every of the members who took half on this challenge. The exhibition opened on Friday 21 November at The Northumbria hospital in Cramlington.

Touching on the significance of talking about psychological well being, participant of the exhibition, Yevhen Slautenko, stated: “Sharing stories like these matters. Getting the chance to talk openly makes a real difference and lessens that emotional weight and stigma. I know first-hand how much these events help others who don’t always ask for support.”
