SWIMMING POOLS ACT 1992 – SECT 22B

Mandatory pool inspection program by native authority

22B Mandatory pool inspection program by local authority

(1) A local authority should, inside 6 months after the graduation of this
part, develop and undertake a program for the inspection of swimming swimming pools in
its area to make sure compliance with the necessities of this Part.

(2) Within
12 months after the graduation of this part, this system should make
provision for the inspection, not less than as soon as each 3 years, of any
swimming pool located on premises on which there’s
tourist and visitor accommodation or greater than 2 dwellings.

(3) The program
is to not require the inspection of a swimming pool in respect of which there
is a legitimate certificate of compliance or a relevant occupation certificate.

(4) A local authority should examine swimming swimming pools in its area in accordance
with its program.

(5) The laws might make provision for or with respect
to the event and adoption of applications for the inspection of
swimming swimming pools including–

(a) the shape and content material of applications, and

(b) the
method wherein the general public is to be consulted in the course of the improvement of any
such program, and

(c) the finishing up of inspections beneath this system.
