“Of the Moment” Photography Contest

The Oak Park Area Arts Council and the Oak Park Art League invite you to undergo our “Of the Moment” pictures contest!!! Please use this kind for submission.
Contest Theme: “Of the Moment”Photographers are welcome to interpret the theme as they want. Photos chosen as Finalists will probably be printed and displayed with their interpretation of the theme.
Eligible Individuals:- Must be 18 or older– Must dwell in Cook County

Submission Dates: Photos could also be submitted between December 1, 2025 and January 5, 2026.
Photo Requirements: – Submitted photographs will need to have been taken between December 1, 2025 and January 5, 2026. – Submitted photographs should be able to be printed at 11×14 dimensions. – Photos should be named LastName_FirstName_NameOfThePhoto- Photos should be authentic photographs taken by the person submitting. AI Art is not going to be accepted.

** Submitted Photos that don’t meet necessities will probably be thought-about ineligible and faraway from the competition.**

Selected Finalists: A panel of Jurors will choose 25-30 photographs as Finalists. The photographs chosen to be finalists will probably be printed and displayed on the most important department of the Oak Park Public Library for 2 weeks. While the finalists are on show on the library, most of the people will probably be invited to go see the photographs and vote for his or her favorites. All photographs, regardless if they’re chosen as a Finalists or not, will probably be displayed in a web-based gallery.

Categories & Prizes: – People’s Choice – $125- Favorite Black & White – $125- Most Interesting Subject – $125

Closing Exhibit: A closing exhibit will probably be held on the Oak Park Art League on Friday, January 30 from 6pm – 7:30pm. Voting will shut at 7pm on the thirtieth, with the winners introduced shortly afterwards.
