“What a fun atmosphere to enjoy a great family style meal. We got in line around 10AM and waited an hour for opening. Lots of fun standing in line engaging with strangers sharing stories of where they are from and how they came about Mrs Wilkes Dining Room. We entered to a welcoming staff and after the blessing we started to dig in. The table is filled with now less than 20 side dishes. The chicken was some of the best we have ever had. All the food was delicious. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and prompt. I believe Mrs Wilkes Dining Room is a ‘must do’ when visiting Savannah. Restaurant is cash only but there is an ATM inside. We will be back!
