‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’s Jack Black Teases Video Gamers “Will Be Very Pleased” With Movie Adaptation

Jack Black is returning to voice Bowser for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and is teasing the upcoming movie.

Although he couldn’t say a lot in regards to the new animated film, the Orange County actor stated video players who’ve performed Super Mario Galaxy will benefit from the adaptation.

“I am a sworn to secrecy, but there’s tons of Easter eggs, and anyone who loves that universe will be very pleased with the way that it’s been brought to the big screen,” Black instructed GamesRadar+.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is about to open in theaters on April 3, 2026. The voice actors returning to the sequel embody Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek.

Additions to the forged for the sequel embody Brie Larson as Princess Rosalina and Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr.
