Wildlife Photographer Shares Best-of-2025 Camera-Trap Pictures

Robbins lately shared his 2025 camera-trap “year in review”—16 of his favourite pictures from the previous three hundred and sixty five days.

“Camera trapping always feels like a very slow, losing endeavor, until you go back through a year’s worth of photos and realize that it wasn’t all failure,” Robbins wrote in his Facebook publish sharing the pictures. “16 photos worthy of sharing in 365 days . . . that’s . . . yeah, it’s a pretty slow, losing endeavor. If it were easy everyone would be doing it.”

Robbins’ spherical up contains bobcats, squirrels, coyotes, and even a pine marten in Lassen Volcanic National Park (the world in northern California the place he’s based mostly). My private favourite, although, is a backlit grey fox on a log.
