I constructed The Starters to be a way of life enterprise.

I’ve modified my thoughts.

For the previous three years, I’ve been operating this platform like a cash-flowing machine.

The enterprise is worthwhile. Growth has been regular. I work 40 hours per week and pull out respectable income.

That was at all times the plan: construct one thing lean, take income, reside a cushty life.

And it is labored. By most measures, I’ve made it.

But these days, one thing’s felt off.

I’ve realized that cash should purchase issues, nevertheless it’s not what really motivates me.

What will get me off the bed is the mission.

It’s serving to founders construct their companies with out bloated groups or company markups.

It’s giving freelancers entry to nice manufacturers who deal with them like companions.

It’s beating the marketplaces and staffing companies that exploit either side.

That’s what drives me. Not the cash.

And when I’m sincere with myself, I do know The Starters will be 10x or 20x what it’s as we speak.

We have 600+ of probably the most gifted and knowledgable consultants in e-commerce on our platform. Thousands of profitable engagements. A mannequin that really works for either side.

The basis is there. The query is whether or not I’m prepared to guess on it.

And whether or not I’m prepared to push to the subsequent degree.

So this is what’s altering in 2026.

I’m not optimizing for way of life anymore. I’m constructing.

That means extra funding again into the platform. New hires. Bigger imaginative and prescient.

But for now? One message involves thoughts:

“I’m not leaving!”
