It’s wonderful once you discover one thing you are actually enthusiastic about. For me, it is images.

Nature images is my favourite, together with photos of animals, flowers, and even bugs. That final one could sound bizarre, but it surely’s fairly cool when you may get a close-up have a look at one thing like a grasshopper.

Inspiration for Photographers is Everywhere in Maine

In 2025, I received a reasonably superior shot with my cellphone that appears like I used my digicam.This shot of apple blossoms gained first place within the Orrington Old Home Week Photo contest. But it isn’t my favourite of the 12 months.

The colours of those berries that I discovered at Ecotat Gardens in Hermon had been so hanging, I might resist a shot. Still….not my favourite.

There was this regal goat from a farm in Orrington who posed for his photograph. Not my favourite, however I actually like this man.

 

Maine Deer Photos are My Favorite

An in depth second this 12 months was this shot of a Mama Doe shielding her very nervous teenager.

So, I’ve made you wait lengthy sufficient. My favourite photograph of the 12 months occurred unexpectedly.

My husband and I had been out searching for deer. I used to be lining up a shot for a few does throughout a neighor’s yard, when this lady popped her head up from behind a bush, proper in entrance of me.

Framed by the branches of a tree, it is the most effective photographs I’ve ever taken. (for my part) I adore it a lot, it is on my wall at work.
