Time flies whenever you’re having enjoyable… six years at JE Dunn Construction, to be precise. As I look again, I’m struck by how a lot has modified, how a lot I’ve discovered, and the way grateful I’m for the privilege to do work that connects group, influence, and legacy.
 
I had no thought what I used to be entering into on December 9, 2019 (nobody ever actually does!). I’ve discovered colleagues and buddies who really care in regards to the world, new adventures, deep objective, and a way of belonging in an organization that proves on daily basis that enterprise success and group influence aren’t competing priorities—they go hand-in-hand.
 
So, cheers to…
• Our superb nonprofit companions who do the work and make an influence each single day
• Legos, workforce readiness, and the following era of builders
• COVID, pivots, and large‑image technique
• Park cleanups, new park shelters, and loads of muddy sneakers
• The Dunn Family and their legacy of generosity
• The absolute best volunteers, Community Ambassadors, and development professionals
• Incredible workforce members and govt leaders
• Confetti, baseball, and moments of pure pleasure
• Airstreams and galas (and extra galas)
• Historic phases, milestone moments, and centennial celebrations
• Learning and serving with the Marlborough Community Coalition, Kansas City Public Schools Education Foundation, and The Kansas City Royals Foundation
• The risk of creating a distinction.
 
Forever grateful that Bob Dunn, Gordon Lansford, and Tim Dunn took an opportunity on this nonprofit girl. The work continues—and I nonetheless can’t consider I get to be a part of it.
