Our Brock Owens spoke with a gaggle of youngsters who’re hoping to see extra individuals go exterior and make the most of the snow.

In Cambria County, we met up with three youngsters within the Westmont space, close to the Inclined Plane, — Alana, Zaden and Kameron — who walked about two blocks from their houses to what they are saying is the perfect sledding hill within the neighborhood.

“We were lowkey bored of being in the house all day, so we came out here to sled, have fun, and push each other in the snow and stuff,” mentioned Zaden.

They say it was enjoyable despite the fact that it was very chilly.

“It was so hard to get down the first couple of times because the snow was all pushed up so we had to make some trails. We honestly don’t like to stay in the house, and our phones got boring.”

At the time that we spoke with the three youngsters, they had been the one ones within the neighborhood who had been profiting from the snowy, outside enjoyable, which made them need to ship a message to different children.

“Go outside. Some kids really need to get off their phone and go outside. Even if it’s just to go walk, just to have a walk, or like 15 minutes outside. Just take a break from the screen.”
