STUDENT TRAVEL AWARDS – Political Geography Specialty Group

Description: The Political Geography Student Travel Awards are $225 grants given to assist scholar journey to current a paper on a political geography subject on the PGSG Preconference and/or the AAG Annual Meeting. Up to 10 (10) awards of could also be awarded yearly.

Guidelines:

1. The 2025-26 cycle deadline will likely be introduced in Fall 2025. Digital copies of the appliance should be submitted to the present Student Travel Award Committee Chair (Erinn Nicley at erinn.nicley[at]wgu.edu) by this deadline.

2. The competitors is open to all college students who’re registered to attend the PGSG preconference and/or the AAG Annual Meeting.

3. Applicants are required to submit: (a) their paper title and summary; (b) affirmation of convention registration; (c) a quick cowl letter stating the place they’re enrolled, what diploma they’re pursing, whether or not they’re a member of the PGSG, and the main points for another journey funds they’ve been awarded. 4. Entries should be on a subject in political geography.
