Diving Competes In Tri-Meet With Miami & Notre Dame Saturday

CORAL GABLES, FLA. – The North Carolina diving squad kicked off the brand new 12 months in south Florida with a tri-meet towards Miami and Notre Dame on Saturday. Sofia Knight represented the ladies’s squad, whereas Christopher Booler, Carter Loftin, Ciro Mejia and Rodolfo Vazquez Montano hit the boards for the lads’s group.

Vazquez Montano claimed fourth on the 1-meter, and Loftin did the identical on the 3-meter. Knight positioned sixth within the girls’s 3-meter, whereas she was joined by Mejia because the lone opponents on the platform.

The Tar Heels shall be again within the pool on Friday once they host Boston College and UNCW for a tri-meet. Action will get began at 2 p.m. within the Koury Natatorium.
