MIAMI – The UNT swimming and diving program had a robust displaying on Saturday in south Florida when the Mean Green battled forwards and backwards with host FIU earlier than being narrowly edged out on the FIU Sprint Invite, which featured a novel bracket model format for 50-yard sprints in every stroke.

We’re excited to kick off 2026 with such a strong showing, and I’m excited to build from here.”

UNT will stay within the Sunshine State and head to Boca Raton for a meet in opposition to FAU and Wagner on Friday.
