Harry Lewis Johnson, aged 75, handed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in North Canton, OH. Born on September 21, 1950, in Waynesboro PA, Harry graduated from Waynesboro High School. He continued his academic pursuits and acquired a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Dayton, and a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University. Harry labored most of his profession designing boilers and energy plant techniques.
Harry had a love for his household and the outside. His biggest hobbies have been attending and supporting his youngsters and grandkids sporting occasions, college applications and images. He was all the time behind the lens documenting household gatherings, holidays and bronze historic plaques.
Harry was a devoted member of the Hoover Masonic Lodge #770 and the Accepted Order of the Scottish Rite, not too long ago receiving his 30-year pin. An Eagle Scout, Harry volunteered in lots of positions for native councils inside Scouting America. However, his most beloved place was organizing camporees for the Buckeye Council.
Harry is survived by his spouse, Shirley; his youngsters Angela Oney and Charles (Kara) Johnson; his stepsiblings Wayne Poffenberger (Ginger), Pam (Walter) Rowland , and Diana Peslis; and his 4 grandchildren and one nice grandchild. He is preceded in dying by his Parents Anita and Charles Johnson; his stepmother Faye Johnson; and his son-in-law Larry Oney.
Calling hours shall be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 12-1 PM on the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Masonic Services will instantly comply with calling hours, and funeral providers will then be carried out by Celebrant Kevin O’Brien. Final resting place is St. Jacob’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry’s reminiscence could also be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association on-line at apdaparkinson.org.
