Ostrowski, Nelson Sweep Big West Swim/Dive Athlete of the Week Awards

IRVINE, Calif.—The University of Hawai’i swimming groups swept the Big West Athlete of the Week awards for the second consecutive week. On Tuesday, The Big West introduced that Karol Ostrowski was named the winner of the boys’s award, whereas Holly Nelson earned the ladies’s weekly award for the Rainbow Wahine. For Ostrowski, it marked the second profession weekly convention award and the third for the Warriors this season (Mario Surkovic, Oct. 7 and Tim Brown, Dec. 3). For the Rainbow Wahine, Nelson earned her second Athlete of the Week Award this season and the third for the ‘Bows within the 2025-26 season.
