Bonita Springs Wonder Gardens celebrates ninetieth birthday with two occasions

Southwest Florida’s oldest roadside attraction has some celebrating to do. And everybody’s invited to the get together.

The Wonder Gardens will mark its ninetieth anniversary in Bonita Springs with two days of occasions on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 31, and Feb. 1.

First up, there’s a ninetieth Birthday Evening Celebration from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. It consists of meals from native eating places, grownup drinks, stay leisure, animal encounters, a stay public sale and extra. Tickets are $250-$500.

Then there’s Family Day on the Gardens from 11 a.m. to three p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1. The occasion consists of music, meals, interactive applications, animal interactions, video games and extra. Tickets are $50 ($25 for ages 3-12).

The botanical backyard and animal refuge options greater than 300 rescued, rehabilitated and non-releasable animals, together with gators, macaws, turtles, flamingoes and the new Otter Grotto exhibit.
