Officials say unlawful homes of playing have been damaged up in Umatilla and Leesburg following complaints filed with regulation enforcement.

Three unlawful playing places have been shut down this month by the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) and several other regulation enforcement companies in Lake County.

The joint investigative operation named “Calvin Coolidge” centered on the websites that have been engaged in unlawful playing in Umatilla and Leesburg. FGCC officers stated the investigation was launched after complaints and different analysis into reported unlawful slot machines.

Following the execution of a number of search warrants, officers seized 231 playing machines, similar to slot machines and a few $157,000 in unlawful playing funds.

“These enforcement actions demonstrate our commitment to protecting Florida communities and preserving the integrity of the state’s gaming laws,” stated FGCC Executive Director Alana Zimmer. “Illegal gambling operations undermine lawful businesses and exploit patrons. FGCC will continue to work proactively with law enforcement partners to shut them down.”

The lead regulation enforcement company was the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, which teamed up with FGCC investigators and focused the House of Treasure on State Road 19 in Umatilla. There, investigators seized 56 unlawful playing machines and practically $76,000 in money from these machines. Three individuals have been served notices to look on prices of possession of slot machines and conserving a playing home.

Two different websites in Leesburg, Hot Seats on U.S. 27, and The Hub on West Main Street, yielded extra proof. Investigators seized 77 unlawful playing machines at Hot Seats and $35,621 in suspected playing machines. Two individuals got notices to look on related prices of possession of slot machines and conserving a playing home.

The Hub yielded extra proof, together with 98 unlawful playing machines and $46,597 in suspected unlawful gaming proceeds. Two further individuals at The Hub have been served notices to look on the identical prices at different places in Lake County.

The FGCC has been stepping up extra investigations into unlawful gaming institutions within the state since early 2025.
