Biola Swim Sweeps Triple Distance Invitational

ALISO VIEJO, Calif — The Biola swim groups traveled to the Soka Aquatics Center for the Triple Distance Invitational. 

The Biola girls turned in a robust displaying on the Triple Distance Invitational, posting a number of top-three finishes throughout all occasions. Angie Ahmadi-Kashani led the space group with runner-up finishes within the 200 free (2:02.23), 500 free (5:25.98) and 1000 free (11:09.36), whereas Julia Hill added a third-place effort within the 200 free (2:07.70) and one other podium end within the 500 free (5:34.13). 

In the backstroke occasions, Kylie Montiel swiped second within the 50 again (28.26), whereas Allison Yancey swept the sphere with a win within the 200 again (2:10.39) and a second-place end within the 100 again (1:00.02). 

Malia Ciolli dominated the breaststroke races, capturing victories within the 100 breast (1:08.94) and 200 breast (2:29.50), whereas Coco Friedley, Chloe Colvard, and Simei van Staden delivered strong performances within the particular person medley occasions.

Benjamin Smith followed close behind with back-to-back runner-up finishes in the 50 and 100 free. Noah Hall and Josh Peace anchored the distance events, placing second and third respectively in the 1000 free, while Hall added a runner-up finish in the 500 free (4:52.23). 

The Eagles also found success in the backstroke events, as Alejandro Marchesini earned victories in the 50 back (24.47), 100 back (52.04), and 200 back (1:57.24). Nathan Griffin swept second-places in all three events behind Marchesini. Jack Snyder led the breaststroke group with a win in the 200 breast (2:17.48) and first-place finishes in the 50 (28.32) and 100 breast (1:01.37), while Andrew Hanson paced the butterfly events with wins in both the 100 fly (53.09) and 200 fly (2:02.72).

In the medleys, Karter McNutt and Anthony Ramirez captured second and third place finishes in the 100 and 200 IM, respectively.
