Situated inside an elementary college campus, the challenge occupies a uncommon, well-preserved early Twentieth-century residential constructing—initially constructed through the Japanese colonial interval—now embedded inside a up to date academic surroundings. Once a humble dwelling, the house now serves as a rush-weaving classroom. Rather than restoring a relic, the design opens a dialogue between historical past and day by day life, creating a 3rd house between reminiscence and use.
