Photography & Exhibition Design Camp
For campers coming into grades 6 – 12
June 22 via June 26 and July 6 via July 10 (2 week) | 9 a.m. to three p.m.

About Ariya Martin

Ariya Martin (she/her), working beneath the moniker Ariya Aladjem Wolf is a visible artist, performer and educator based mostly in New Orleans (Bulbancha), Louisiana. Aladjem Wolf’s inventive work is collaborative in spirit. She is a founding member of Southerly Gold, an all-female pictures collective; performs with the vocal ensemble, Serpentine, who use sound and the creation of activated area to facilitate environments for transformation and therapeutic; and co-founded the group, One Bird, devoted to neighborhood youth arts. She is an Associate Professor on the University of New Orleans, overseeing the pictures program.

She earned her MFA in Imaging Arts-Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has been an lively member of the New Orleans artwork neighborhood since 2006. Her work has been exhibited at varied establishments, together with Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art and Acadiana Center for the Arts, and accomplished artist residencies at Footnote Centre for Image and Text in Belgrade, Serbia, and Kolaj Institute in New Orleans. She is at the moment a member of Good Children Gallery, an artist-run gallery area within the St Claude Arts District.
