Photopia & DMJX Open Call For Documentary Photography Programme

The four-part programme is led by the Danish School of Media and Photojournalism in collaboration with Cairo-based Photopia.

The Danish School of Media and Photojournalism (DMJX) has opened purposes for a brand new documentary pictures workshop programme in partnership with Cairo-based pictures faculty Photopia.

Funded by the Danish Embassy in Cairo, the programme will choose 10 to 12 rising and mid-career Egyptian photographers to participate in a year-long studying observe.

Participants will attend 4 intensive workshops, every lasting between three and 5 days, led by instructors from DMJX. Alongside structured educating, photographers will work on particular person assignments and develop a long-term documentary venture by means of one-on-one mentoring.
