Ladies’s Swim & Dive Defeat Alfred University 224-71

GENESEO, NY: The SUNY Geneseo ladies’s swimming & diving workforce opened their spring semester with a win over Alfred University this night, beating them 224 to 71.

The 200-yard medley relay opened the meet with a first-place end, with Maya Marcyan, Emily Thomas, Sibby Lowe and Kaitlyn Geary touching at 1:47.99. Teammates Courtney Sorbello, Addison Luce, Maeve Wright and Erin Zagrobelny took second with a time of 1:55.15.

Chloe Marcyan took the highest spot within the 1000-yard freestyle, touching at 11:13.40. Hannah Brockman adopted it up with one other first place end within the 200-yard freestyle along with her time of 1:59.44. The Knights swept the 200-yard butterfly, with Wright, Geary and Emily McCord taking the highest spots, adopted by Lowe and Molly McGourty within the 50-yard free, ending at 24.26 and 26.15.

In the 100-yard free, Brockman tallied one other first place end with a time of 56.41, with Thomas on her heels, ending at 56.61. Jessica Cronin took first within the 200-yard breast, whereas McCord completed on prime within the 500-yard free. Lowe, Chloe Marcyan and Geary took first by means of third within the 100-yard butterfly, all ending inside two seconds of one another.
