Little Rock Swimming Set for Mardi Gras Invitational at Tulane

New Orleans, LA.- The Little Rock swimming workforce will journey to New Orleans this weekend to compete within the Mardi Gras Invitational, hosted by Tulane University. The two-day meet contains a round-robin format that permits groups to face a number of opponents in a fast-paced, dual-meet setting.

Little Rock will compete in three twin meets over the weekend, with cumulative workforce factors contributing towards the general Mardi Gras Invitational championship, which will probably be awarded on the conclusion of Saturday’s competitors.

“We’re super excited to attend the Mardi Gras Invite, where we’ll get the chance to race several strong teams in a round-robin format,” Townsend stated. “Heading to New Orleans makes it even more special, as it’s home to a couple of our swimmers. We’ll enjoy great food, compete across nearly every event, and take some time on Sunday to experience the city before returning and jumping back into school on Tuesday.”

Little Rock’s weekend schedule features a Friday night matchup towards New Mexico at 4:40 p.m., adopted by a Saturday morning twin towards North Texas at 8:10 a.m. The Trojans will shut the invitational with a Saturday night contest towards host Tulane at 5 p.m.
