WASHINGTON – GW swimming & diving accomplished a sweep of Georgetown on Saturday because the Revolutionaries celebrated and honored its seniors on the Smith Center. The GW males’s workforce emerged with a 150-131 win, whereas the ladies’s workforce narrowly escaped, 141-140, in a meet that got here all the way down to the ultimate relay.  

Men’s Highlights

  • Matija Radjenovic swam to victory within the 200-yard freestyle, tapping the wall in 1:38.72.

  • On the 3-meter board, Michael Wood (344.10) and Ben Bradley (33.98) completed atop of the competitors, ending in first and second. 

Women’s Highlights 

  • GW’s 200-yard medley relay kicked the meet off with a win. The successful relay consisted of Logan Watson-Brown, Natalie Sens, Isabel Sayag and Joselle Mensah (1:42.42). 

  • Ava Topolewski claimed victory within the 200-yard free (1:49.94). Topolewski later bested the sphere within the 50-yard free (23.66), ending simply earlier than Sens (23.72) in second, earlier than selecting up her third victory of the meet within the 500-yard free (4:51.81). 

  • Mensah (1:04.35) and Julia Gomez Carpi (1:05.43) completed atop the 100-yard breaststroke.
