Girls’s Swim & Dive Have a good time Senior Day, Profitable 185 -115 In opposition to Case Western Reserve

GENESEO, NY: The SUNY Geneseo ladies’s swimming & diving crew celebrated senior day this afternoon, taking the win over Case Western Reserve 185 to 115.

The ladies’s 200-yard medley relay kicked it off with a powerful first-place end, with Alex Sotek, Emily Thomas, Sibby Lowe and Erin Johannsen touching at 1:46.45, 4 seconds forward of second place. Hannah Brockman led the way in which within the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle, ending at 5:15.73 and 10:50.56. Teammate Alex Sotek did the identical within the 50-yard backstroke along with her time of 59.30.  Emily Thomas, Maura O’Donnell and Addison Luce swept the 100-yard breaststroke, with Thomas taking first with a time of 1:05.71.

Chloe Marcyan gained the 200-yard butterfly and the 200-yard IM, ending at 2:13.69 and a pair of:15.66, respectively.  Sotek and Johannsen took first and second within the 100-yard free, with solely .25 of a second separating the 2. Johannsen picked up the first-place end within the 50-free, ending at 24.54. Thomas had one other first place end within the 200-yard breaststroke, touching at 2:27.00.

Geneseo had a powerful efficiency in each the 1- and 3-meter dives, with Lydia Banjamin, Morgan Davey and Lauren Savage taking the highest spots. Benjamin led the way in which along with her scores of 274.65 (1M) and 273.35 (3M).

The Knights will head to RIT on January 23^rd and 24^th.
