PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Russia, Jan 19 (Reuters) – The greatest snowfall in 60 years on Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka ‍Peninsula created huge drifts a number of metres tall that blocked constructing entrances and buried vehicles, in keeping with Reuters visuals and climate monitoring stations.

Video posted on Russian media ​confirmed ⁠locals strolling on snow drifts ‌alongside visitors lights and nice piles of snow a number of metres tall lining roads.

Some jumped down the drifts for enjoyable.
