Bernot Captures MSC Swimmer of the Week Honors After Report Breaking Efficiency

Bowling Green, KY – For the second straight week, Patriots freshman Titouan Bernot has garnered MSC Swimmer of the Week honors, convention officers introduced Monday.  Bernot had a document breaking efficiency in UC’s double twin win in opposition to Centre and Transylvania.

The Nancy, France native opened the meet by clocking a 1:36.66 to win the 200 free.  That time broke the varsity document, which has been in place since 2009, by virtually two seconds.  It can also be the highest time within the NAIA by virtually a second.

Bernot adopted that up with a tactical race within the 500 free, the place he utilized a late transfer to seize the win and hit the NAIA provisional minimize. 

He capped off the week teaming with Adam Geddis, Alexander Poulsen, and Arvid Farro because the quartet posted a profitable time of 1:23.11 within the 200 free relay.

UC returns to the water on Saturday, January twenty fourth, once they return dwelling to host #3 Milligan.  The Patriots will honor their 2026 senior class previous to the meet, which is about to start at 1 p.m.
