PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Russia, Jan 19 (Reuters) – The greatest snowstorm in 60 years on Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula created huge drifts a number of metres tall that blocked constructing entrances and buried automobiles, in accordance with Reuters visuals and climate monitoring stations.

“I plan to go on a walk around the city tomorrow, though unfortunately the car has been parked in a snowdrift for a month,” stated Lydmila Moskvicheva, a photographer in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a port metropolis 6,800 km (4,200 miles) east of Moscow.
Video posted on Russian media confirmed locals strolling on snow drifts alongside site visitors lights and nice piles of snow a number of metres tall lining roads.
Some jumped down the drifts for enjoyable.
