As 2025 drew to an in depth, probably the most important points that occupied photographic discourse revolved across the use and ubiquitous presence of synthetic intelligence, and, particularly, artificially generated pictures. This had been a transformative 12 months on the earth of image-making. Of probably the most attention-grabbing responses to this second had been the return to photographic processes that necessitate the human hand and eye, and, considerably, photo-based collages. With their layered bodily presence and sudden encounters of pictures, or pictures and texts, collages proceed to develop and prolong photographic discourse, in addition to the connection between artists and their viewers.
