His photographic pictures and movies of Lake Superior’s wild facet might be seen on social media

As a photographer who loves nature, the Sault’s Dan Grisdale is of course drawn to the lake.

For the final eight years he has been particularly enthusiastic about capturing Lake Superior’s excessive and stormy fall and winter waves in images and on video.

“I did photography before that but one day we went for a ride to Wawa and you know how the lake can be. The waves were 28 feet high. That’s the highest I’ve ever seen it. I didn’t have a camera with me that day but I thought ‘I have to see this again.’ I’ve been chasing storms on the lake ever since,” Grisdale instructed SooToday.

Grisdale, together with his spouse Cassandra, recurrently travels of their camper van to the lake’s shoreline alongside Highway 17 North between the Sault and Wawa on pictures and video journeys.

“The storms are my main thing. I don’t think about anything else when I’m there. I’m at peace. When my wife and I are out there we just sit and watch and we look at each other and smile,” Grisdale stated.

His photographic pictures and movies of Lake Superior’s wild facet might be seen on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Grisdale stated he is eager about sharing his work with others.

“A lady from Toronto told me, ‘I can’t see this where I live and I never would have been able to see this if it wasn’t for you.’ That inspired me to share my photography with other people who can’t make it up here.”

His pictures and movies of the lake have not too long ago drawn extra viewers than typical.

“The last few months have been just insane. I think that a lot of people are interested in the waves because meteorologists were predicting 40-foot waves before Christmas.”

Under his enterprise banner of 17 North Photography, his images, protecting a variety of subject material, might be bought by way of his website.

“I do quite a lot of pictures alongside the lake within the fall and winter. My spouse takes all of her holidays within the fall so we are able to go keep up there.”

He strongly urges others to take excessive warning when going close to Lake Superior, particularly in wild climate.

“It’s dangerous but I’ve found a pretty safe place to go when I travel there,” Grisdale stated.

YOUR LIFESTYLE IS YOUR LOUDEST SERMON “Don’t simply say you’re a Christian; let it present that you’re a Christian.” Apostle Joshua Selman Don’t say you are kind; let it show. Don’t say you are patient; let it show. Don’t say you are loving; let it show. The goal is not merely to testify about transformation but to become the evidence of transformation itself. Sadly, many believers cannot be identified as Christians by their conduct, character, or lifestyle. If someone must wait until you pray in tongues before recognizing Christ in you, something is missing. The love, peace, joy, and nature of God should flow from your life so powerfully that anyone who encounters you can discern the reality of His presence. This applies to everyone: preachers, parents, leaders, and believers alike. The Kingdom of God advances not only through the demonstration of power but also through the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, patience, kindness. These are the attributes of the Holy Spirit expressed through a transformed life. Let your light so shine. Many people think only of miracles when they think of Kingdom impact, but there is another dimension: lifestyle. Your lifestyle is a greater preacher than your sermons. Don’t preach kindness and live contrary to the message. Become the message! Watch the full sermon titled “The Apostolic Christian (Enforcers Of The Kingdom)” from the Sunday service session on the SOR 2026 UK convention on our YouTube channel at Koinonia Global. #KoinoniaGlobal #TheSoundOfRevival2026 #TheApostolicChristian #EnforcersOfTheKingdom #ApostleJoshuaSelman
