Swimming Broadcasts Study to Swim Lessons For This Spring

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Bloomsburg swimming head coach Bridget Flick has introduced the study to swim program dates for this spring.
 
Led by the Huskies’ teaching employees and members of the Bloomsburg swim staff, classes will consist of 4 40-minute periods in a single week.
 
Lessons are provided at two totally different ranges: novice and intermediate. The novice classes are for younger youngsters nonetheless studying to change into extra snug within the water. Skills realized at this degree embody coming into the pool safely, going beneath the water, holding their breath, floating, kicking, and retrieving submerged objects.
 
The class is for youngsters who’ve mastered all Level I expertise. They will study the fundamentals of swimming together with kicking on each again and abdomen, streamlining off the wall, rhythmic respiratory, and the introduction of different strokes.
 
The first session begins on Monday, March 30 and runs by way of Thursday, April 2. Three different periods will happen the next three weeks (April 6-9, April 13-16, April 20-23). Novice classes will run from 4-4:40 p.m. whereas the intermediate lessons will happen from 4:50-5:30 p.m.
