Males’s Swim & Dive Stands in Second after Day One in all Point Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Gustavus Adolphus College males’s swimming and diving workforce competed in day one of many Point Invite on Friday, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers. The Gusties stand in second place after the opening day with a rating of 514.5. UW-La Cross leads the meet at 563.5 factors whereas UW-Stevens Point is third with 416.
 
Josh Wallin tied for first-place within the 100 backstroke, swimming the occasion in 54.00 to tie for the win.
 
Mason Deitering was the runner-up within the 500 freestyle, ending simply 3.09 second after the chief at 5:57.19. Logan Cyr had the highest time for Gustavus within the 100 freestyle, inserting sixth at 49.63.
 
Britton Patee took second total within the 200 butterfly with a time of two:00.33.
 
Aidynn Havermann led the Gusties within the 200 IM, inserting third with a time of 1:58.69.

Mason Cote  swam the 200 breaststroke in 2:16.47, main the Gusties and inserting fourth total.

 

Trevor Johnson positioned ninth within the 3-meter dive, scoring 283.80.

 

Gustavus was the runner-up in each the 400 medley relay (3:34.30) and 200 freestyle relay (1:26.92).
